I was really glad to see Carson’s latest short, not to mention my excitement to see so many classmates/teachers @ this year’s competition. it was cool seeing you @ mangia’s today as well. too bad i was working through lunch, really wanted to give you a high five
It was really startling to see that many former students involved in the Best Of films last night. The Kafka film was a near-blended class roster of mine from the past three or four semesters. I have a feeling I’ll be bragging about more than a few folks in the next five-10 years.
“I used to…”
I agree Matt, “Hanley’s Meadow” may not be on Mayor Slay’s page anytime soon, but it and “Penny” were among my favorites.
As a bonus, ‘Penny’ was shot in my hometown of Mascoutah.
