  1. I see that there is a lot of work being done to restore the old complex. Seems the Deputy Clerk Duncan at the city Hall… is working on..investigating,,, turning the facility into a Trade/vocational training school(s). AND bringing in various Aviation/military oriented Museums.
I gave her a call. She has already made great progress…

Which is a great idea…Cause retail sales businesses can not make it in Cahokia. A tourist attraction…& school for adults & High school students would be a perfect addition. Help the village.
Seems her office is looking for those who want to get involved…with suggestions…anything you think would be of help

Would hate to see that Historical aviation site go to weeds… building knocked down…
The Majority of the population have no idea of the historical value of that Complex. In its day..20′..30’s..into the 40’s…it served as a maintenance depot..for all the famous flyers of the day… Doolittle..Earhart..you name em…they landed there. Jimmy Doolittle built & tested his racing planes in the facility….The historical factors go on & on…
    Once knocked down….its gone.
Cahokia…FINALLY HAS A young lady who is trying to save the grounds….with a wonderful idea…

I did sense a great deal of feelings inside your article…your coverage of the Parks situation. Please revisit the subject. The more who know about her efforts…the better her chances to save the Complex & help her Village
    Thank You
