Radio/Club DJ

Over the past (whoa!), 20 years, I’ve hosted shows on KDHX, 88.1 fm in St. Louis. At times, I’ve hosted (or co-hosted) shows, including, in reverse order: Friday Afternoon Show, Silver Tray, Topic A, The Wire, Radio Free St. Louis, Dancing About Architecture and Latitude Zero.

While currently not a regular show host on the station, I have filled in since departing a set shift. Here are some recent playlists.

Also, I’m an occasional guest on the KDHX talk show Collateral Damage, with host DJ Wilson. Among some spots of late:

May 10, 2016 (pledge drive edition)
December 9, 2013 (with Bob Putnam)
October 7, 2013 (pledge drive edition)
August 19, 2013 (graffiti series for
October 8, 2012 (pledge drive edition)

Along with various producers, headed by Andy Coco, I’ve worked to bring a variety of live music sets to KDHX.

Though largely-retired these days, I still spin occasionally at The Royale in South St. Louis. I held longer-running gigs at Atomic Cowboy, The Halo and Pablo’s, at different points in life.

As best as I can recollect, here are joints in which I’ve tossed around songs:

Atomic Cowboy
Blueberry Hill’s Duck Room
The Chocolate Bar
Deep Deep Cool
Euclid Records/Record Store Day
The Halo Bar
The Pageant
The Royale
Side Door Music Club
Way Out Club

… and playing with the following bands, as opener/set breaker:

Dread Zeppelin
The Great Crusades
Pale Divine
The Unconscious

Oh, yeah. There was this.
