To that I’ll add, they’re primarily responsible for me even thinking about picking up a guitar. They played maybe… 2? 3? high school dances, and the were the definition of local heroes to me. Incredible pop sensibilities, great songwriting, and really nice guys.

I’d shell out for just about anything the remaining band members wanted to put out. It’s the least I could do for everything I got from them.

I’d buy a St. Louis Terriers (Federal League, 1914-1915) t-shirt.

Also, if those shirts aren’t making their way to the shelves, there’s still a market. Unless DeBellis has exclusive deals with the license holders, I’d imagine they’d be more than happy to license to a couple of different manufacturers.

Wish I would’ve made this one. I saw them open for Arctic Monkeys a few months ago at the Pageant, and were impressive.

“Success,” so far, including a personal black-out of Germany and US matches. What’s amazing to me is that the World Cup isn’t such a secret anymore. Log into Yahoo, there’s a story. Watch CNN, another story. Tune into NPR, a Communist-style story. It’s always around. Oy.
